Indra Bhan is the Chief Operating Officer of the Surrey Board of Trade, Surrey’s city-building business organization which supports business and attracts business to Surrey. Indra is a business and community leader, having held executive roles in the not-for-profit and the corporate sector for over 38 years. She is known as an expert in corporate communications and community engagement.
Born in Fiji, Indra completed her education in Business Management, and at 19, she began her career in the corporate sector. She spent 15 years in senior management roles before she joined the Surrey Board of Trade in 2003. In 2011, she was appointed Chief Operating Officer of the Surrey Board of Trade.
Indra leads the Surrey Board of Trade’s efforts to advocate on behalf of its members and enhance business competitiveness in Surrey.

In her personal time, Indra is a runner and loves travelling.
